Found exists to make dating feel intentional again. This is the operating system that keeps people at the center and rewards real follow through.
People Are Not Disposable
Dating apps turned people into content. Swipe, match, collect, repeat. Prices keep climbing, features feel like gimmicks, and the best experience is always hidden behind another paywall. Meanwhile, the system rewards bad actors and trains the rest of us to treat each other like we are disposable.
Found exists to push back on that. It is built for people who actually want to show up with intent, respect, and follow through.
The Green Flag System
Found runs on a simple idea: your actions matter.
Act with good intentions and your vibe score improves. Ghost, ignore, string people along, or hoard matches and your score drops.
Everyone starts as an average dater. After 15 days, you get your first vibe score and are placed into a tier. After that, your tier updates every 30 days based on your actions. No mystery. No gimmicks. Just accountability.
To keep people focused, Found limits how many connections you juggle at once and caps hoarding.
- You start with 3 connection slots. When they are full, you are taken out of the matching pool until you free one up. If your score rises, you earn more slots and are shown more often to other high intent users. If your score falls to the lowest tier, you show up lower in the deck.
- Once you have 10 incoming likes, you must accept or pass before you can receive more. The point is to stay present with who is in front of you instead of constantly wondering if something better is one swipe away.
Better Conversations
Small talk kills momentum. So Found starts every match with a quick icebreaker game. No more opening with "Hey how was your week." You get traction right away.
Found also includes the Cheat Sheet so you can understand someone's style quickly without guessing. If you get stuck, Wingman tips give you guidance at any point in the conversation.
If things go quiet, you can send a Spark, a small prompt deck that helps you learn more about each other and get the chat moving again.
To prevent endless low effort chatting, every conversation is capped at 40 messages. After that, you have to make a choice.
Schedule a vibe check and either make a plan to meet in person or book a 15 minute in app video call.
When a vibe check is scheduled, the chat unlocks for 72 hours for planning. Go on a date and it went well but you are not ready to delete the app yet? Commit one of your connection slots to that person for 14 days and see where it goes without the chaos.
End It Gracefully
Ending things is awkward, but it should be normal. Found makes it easy to close a connection with a respectful, clear flow.
Instead of letting conversations rot forever, the app encourages closure. If you do not reply within 72 hours, the match is automatically closed and your vibe score takes a ghosting penalty. Not because we are moralizing. Because your time matters, and so does theirs.
Need a break? Turn on Vacation Mode. It pauses timers and protects your score. You can still chat with your existing matches, but you cannot match with new people, and you do not gain points while Vacation Mode is on.
Why Matches Are Paid
Found is built to protect people, not squeeze them.
Yes, there is a subscription, but it is priced to balance fairness with real costs:
- Every member must be ID verified, which costs money up front.
- Every report of bad behavior is reviewed by a real person.
- The goal is not to profit off your loneliness. The goal is to build a dating app where respect actually matters.
