Safety
Safety and community standards
Found is built for real connection, which means the community has to feel safe. These standards protect people, reduce bad behavior, and make follow through the norm.
What we do not allow
- Harassment, hate, threats, stalking, or intimidation.
- Sexual coercion, non consensual content, or solicitation.
- Scams, impersonation, or catfishing.
- Sharing private information about someone else.
Reporting and enforcement
- You can report users and content directly in the app. Reports are reviewed and action is taken when standards are violated.
- Consequences vary based on severity and pattern. Some behavior leads to immediate removal.
- Our goal is to protect good people and remove repeat offenders.
Privacy and data
- Found is built to support better behavior, not to spy on people.
- Your Privacy Policy explains what data is collected and how it is used. If something is not clear, ask us.
- We prioritize safety features while respecting user privacy.
Meeting tips
- Meet in public first. Tell a friend where you are going. Keep the first meeting simple.
- Trust your gut. If something feels off, leave.
- Use a video call first if you want a lower pressure step before meeting.
How Found supports safer dating
- Limits reduce chaos and lower the incentive for spam behavior.
- Bridge flows encourage a clear next step and reduce endless chat loops.
- Standards and culture focus on respect, clarity, and follow through.
